Fifth Third Bank

Owner: Fifth Third Bank Architect: MSKTD & Associates, Inc.

Mason: Purdy Masonry Supplier: Edgewood Building Supply

It was important for the Fifth Third Bank and the community that the design fit within the architectural context of the district. Careful attention was taken to use historical design concepts and proportions with modern elements and detailing. The overall appearance was to be reminiscent of turn-of-the century industrial buildings, using brick layering, textures and large window openings subdivided into small panes of glass.

Excellence in Masonry
Culver Academy
Roberts Hall of Science _ Dicke Hall of Mathematics

Owner: Culver Educational Foundation Architect: Architecture Design Group

Mason: Ziolkowski Construction Inc. Supplier: Carter's Concrete Block

The Culver Military Academy is one of the most prestige's private academies in the country. The goal was and has always been to blend the old of the campus with the most modern facilities for their students. The building fits nicely into the context of the campus and adjoining quad. While the building takes a traditional form, it adds a certain contemporary flair to it, which at first one questions whether it is new of old.
But as you look at the additional detailing of the project you sense there has been some understanding and both restraint as well as provision for a quality level of detailing that gives this building a special character.

The bright and bold colors make the movie experience bigger and bolder than our normal life, just like the movies we are going to see.
We would like the experience of going to a movie to be more than a two hours the actual movie is playing, walking up to the building, the lights, colors and poster cases all contribute to this complete experience and once inside the building the colors continue in the lobby and into the actual theatre house.
